HIGHLY FIGURED BLACK WALNUT, LIVE EDGE COFFEE TABLE - P10087
Look at the exceptional figuring on this table! Striking grain patterns abound throughout the table with a wonderful live edge on one side. Two joints made of Cherry wood provide not only functional stability along the natural cracks but also a beautiful contrasting accent. Hand-welded steel Eames-style hairpin legs gives this table a chic, contemporary and even mid-century modern look, and the natural form of this table would, of course, be at home in a rustic setting. This particular table is 44" long making it a great fit in most settings including small apartments and spaces. You almost wouldn't want to place anything on this table that would hide the beauty! Eye-catching and a true conversation piece!
Note: There is a slight surface unevenness on parts of the table including a very slight taper along the curved live edge portion. The variation is only about 1/4" and is visually not noticeable (unless you put your nose against the table). Don't worry, the table sits flat on any floor. Finishing : Every single one of our live edge wood furniture goes through a labor-intensive, one to two weeks finishing and curing process. We only use all-natural, 100% Tung oil on all our products and apply five to seven coats with finish sanding and a full one day curing in-between each coat. We then apply a minimum of three coats of polyurethane to protect the wood and the finish. Some people will say our finishing process is too much work. I say it’s the only way to do it right.
Every item we make is unique in their own way, from size to patterns to figuring and character. No two products we make are ever the same.
